Getting to Cervia

Cervia is in the Emilia Romagna region, just 20 km south of Ravenna. The golden sandy beaches stretch for 9 km along the Adriatic Riviera, backed by four resorts: Milano Marittima, Cervia, Pinarella and Tagliata.

By car: Cervia is just as easy to find from the south.
From the A14 motorway, exit at Cesena and take the SS71 bis for 12 km towards Cervia. Alternatively, exit the A14 at Cesena Nord and take the SS3 bis to Casemurate. From there, follow signs for Cervia.

By coach: There are numerous bus and coach routes which bring people from all over Italy to our golden beaches. Take a look at the list to find the right one for you.

By train: the nearest railway station is Cervia-Milano Marittima. It is on the line between Ravenna and Rimini and is convenient for travellers coming from major cities in Italy and Europe. Furthermore, it is in the centre of Cervia, meaning you can easily reach your hotel on foot. Since spring, a direct connection between Germany and the Romagnola Riviera has been in operation. From 17 April until 6 October, the daily connection between Munich and the Adriatic Riviera will operate. The connection is made by the German DB and Austrian ÖBB railways with the new RailJet New Generation trains, latest-generation vehicles that combine speed and comfort.  A sustainable as well as comfortable journey to arrive relaxed and start your holiday full of energy. The train departs Munich at 9.34 a.m. and arrives in Rimini in the afternoon at 5.30 p.m., while the return journey is scheduled for 12.35 p.m.

The Rimini railway station is located about 30 km from Cervia. Here you can take a regional train that will take you to Cervia-Milano Marittima Station in half an hour.

By plane: The nearest airports are Forlì, Bologna, and Rimini. All three are served by leading airlines from major cities all across Europe as well as scheduled flights.

Airlines to Bologna – Guglielmo Marconi airport: Austrian (Vienna), Ryanair (Berlin, Cologne-Bonn, Vienna), Eurowings (Duesseldorf, Cologne-Bonn), Swiss (Zurich)

Airlines to Forli – Luigi Ridolfi airport: GoToFly (Vienna)

Airlines to Rimini – Federico Fellini airport: Ryanair (Vienna, London Stansted, Cagliari, Budapest, Praga, Palermo), Easy-Jet (Basel)

Airport shuttle from Bologna airport:

The Bologna-Ravenna-Cervia route will run 4 times a day throughout the year, offering a strategic service for operators and visitors to the area.  The modern buses complete with wi-fi will take guests to their destinations in total comfort, punctuality and safety, saving fuel, motorway tolls and parking.

Transfer by Taxi or minibus:

If you are a group or the shuttle schedule is not convenient, Michele Dallara can provide transfer services (SUV or minibus). Contact details - email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or WhatsApp: +39 327 684 8292

Our commitment to the environment

Eco-Friendly Travel – A Commitment to Sustainability

At Darsena Tango Festival, we believe that sustainability begins with conscious choices. This year, we are proud to share that almost all our guest artists will travel to Cervia by train, car sharing, or minivans instead of airplanes. This effort reflects our commitment to reducing the environmental impact of the festival and encouraging more sustainable mobility wherever possible. By choosing greener transport options, we take one more step toward a responsible and mindful celebration of tango.

Festival Merchandise – Respecting the Environment
